Steer

Ten years after quitting graduate school following a surprise pregnancy, Sam Bennett is tired of feeling worthless and is back to finish her research and finally make something of herself. During her placement at a cattle ranch, she encounters old demons, new challenges, and a stubborn and stoic cowboy named Jamie. Steer is a modern Western romance and the first novel of the Achilles Acres duology series.

"Between his thumb and index finger he touched her chin, lifting it so gently until she stood at full height, until her gaze would meet his, "Chin up, baby girl. Pain is greedy. Has many faces too. Eriophorum book cover

Eriophorum

Something stirs in the dark woods of Närvarande and not everything is as it appears. When knowledge is everything, but the books are banned, Enea must learn to master her craft to uncover the truth that serves to disrupt everything and everyone all while questioning what is real.

"I think I might be losing my mind. Maybe it is already lost. I hope I would know if I were going mad. Stick to the rules, I was told:

Always, always draw the curtains at night.

We dictate. We do not react.

Stick to the path.

Don't look too far or too deep into the trees. And do not answer back. It makes them real. Calls them to be.

But when the wood is silent, you run.

Do not forget, that rules too are sculpted."

Eriophorum (ear-a-for-um) is the first novel in a dark romantic fantasy series that weaves elements of Nordic folk and fairy tales, modern fundamentalist social control, and themes of self-worth and discovery.
